I am an information professional (in other words, a librarian) whose work has been focused on Canadian public libraries, primarily working in children’s and young adult services. Additionally, I have taught library technician classes on literature for children and young adults, and as a result I work hard to stay current in the field. My goal with this blog is in part to share my joy of reading, and also to keep track of the books I’ve read – what I liked, what I loved, and what isn’t worth re-reading. My work with youth means you’ll find lots of books aimed at younger readers, but also a good selection of sci-fi, road trip novels, general literature and nonfiction for adults as well, along with what I can only describe as oddities. Enjoy, and please, share your opinions!
